Montessori Woodland Environment

From 2002 to 2010 an area of Scottish forest was used by our Children’s House and Elementary Class as an outdoor environment integrating core Montessori principles.

We saw amazing things unfold in the children’s development. Now those children are young adults and still reflect on the wonder of their Montessori experiences.

This is an idea which can be implemented almost anywhere!
